Pesch thrilled after Brewers win

Burton boss Paul Peschisolido felt his side fully deserved their 1-0 win at Rotherham, and he praised his defenders' bravery.

Justin Richards got the only goal of the game for Burton on eight minutes, but the visitors had to withstand periods of Millers pressure to ensure they claimed victory. That his side managed to do that left Peschisolido delighted. "We defended absolutely valiantly," he said. "It was unbelievable the way they threw their bodies on the line. "Ryan Austin was like a Premiership defender. I have just said to them in the dressing room that if they defend as well as they did in this game we will progress and progress, because they were absolutely brilliant. "Of course I would like to have played better football, yes I would like to have kept the ball better, yes I would like to have passed the ball better, but ultimately what counts is the three points and we did it."
