Midfielder Matt Ritchie is worried Swindon Town are becoming branded as a 'home team'.
The Robins lost 2-0 at Macclesfield on Friday night - their fifth defeat in six matches away from the County Ground in npower League Two this season.
And winger Ritchie wants that trend stopped before it becomes endemic.
"We don't want to be just a 'home team'," he said.
"I don't know what the problem is - but we seem to lack that bit of fight.
"Games on the road can be a lot scrappier than they are back at the County Ground and we need to instil that nasty streak, otherwise this will continue. We need to win the battle before we win the game."
