Oxford manager Chris Wilder is happy with the way his side are moulding, after their 2-0 League Two win at Barnet.
The Us sit seventh on the table, having played nine matches, and Wilder is under the impression his squad of players are starting to really gel.
"There are good signs from the football team," he told BBC Radio Oxford.
"We are nine games in and are evolving as a team. (Saturday) was another step in the right direction.
"We've got a lot of quality footballers in the team. I don't bring lads who want to smash it.
"I want them to play and we encourage them to play."
