Hereford manager Jamie Pitman feels his side need to improve at both ends of the pitch after they lost 2-0 to Aldershot.
The Shots were the better team in the windy conditions in Tuesday night's League Two clash at Edgar Street and Bulls goalkeeper Dave Cornell pulled off a string of excellent saves.
"We started well and created some openings but then they got into the game a bit more and we conceded a goal we probably should not have conceded, and so we were on the back foot again," said Pitman.
"We have not taken our chances when they came along - and we certainly had our chances - but we did not really have any quality in the final third, in either box.
"Against the wind in the first half, we needed to hold in there and not concede but we did not manage to do that."
