McLeod earns Sanchez plaudits

Barnet boss Lawrie Sanchez praised Izale McLeod after the striker hit his seventh league goal of the season against Plymouth.

McLeod's seventh minute point-blank header put the Bees ahead and defender Daniel Leach's deflected strike after the break sealed their first win at Underhill this season. And Sanchez admitted that if McLeod can continue to score goals at this rate then Barnet can look to target wins against clubs higher up the table sooner rather than later. "In my mind Izale is the best striker in the division," said Sanchez. "It's up to him now to continue this fine run and he should be challenging himself to get to 30 goals this season. "His goals were key in keeping us up last year and now hopefully we can start to aim higher."
