Burton boss Paul Peschisolido was delighted with a point as his side fought back from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw with Oxford.
Alfie Potter and Peter Leven had put the Us into a seemingly comfortable position by scoring either side of half-time. But Justin Richards then fired in a quick double, the first coming from the penalty spot, to maintain Burton's run of just one defeat in their last 12 games.
Peschisolido said: "We had to tweak our formation a little bit and we regrouped.
"First-half we got out of jail free to be fair. Oxford put a lot of pressure on us and were probably the best team we've seen this season. I thought they were excellent, their movement was good, and we were lucky maybe to still be in it.
"At half-time I asked for a bit more aggression and to add a bit more to the defensive side of our game and I thought we took it really well second half.
"So I'm pleased with a point. You can never under-estimate our team."
