Swindon striker Alan Connell has praised Paolo Di Canio, saying the controversial manager commands respect from his players.

The 28-year-old came off the bench to score twice and earn the Robins a 3-2 victory over Rotherham at the weekend and insists Di Canio is the right man for the job. Connell told the Swindon Advertiser: "He commands respect for what he has done and everyone wants to play for him. "He is a very emotional guy and sometimes he will be more angry when we are playing. He wears his heart on his sleeve. "He cares about all the players and we are working incredibly hard getting results for the club and for him."
