Morecambe manager Jim Bentley is disappointed after an injury time Bradford goal gave them a 1-1 draw at the Globe Arena.
The Shrimps' hopes of going clear at the top of League Two were dashed by a last-gasp strike from the Bantams' Ross Hannah, who scored three minutes into injury time to rob Bentley's men of a fifth successive win. Izak Reid had given the hosts a 56th-minute lead.
Bentley said: "I have to admit I am really flat and in many ways it feels like a defeat.
"We were sitting top of the league after 90 minutes and everything looked great. We looked strong and although we were under a lot of pressure were defending really well but then the lad produced another quality goal and it proved costly.
"Sometimes you have to give credit where it is due and it was a great finish but my lads are devastated because it would have been a real boost to be clear at the top.
"One the plus side we have to take the positives from the game and the fact we are joint top after six games and unbeaten in five league games is still good and we have to pick ourselves up for another big game against Crawley next week."
