Barnet look set to start the new season without striker Steve Kabba who is still injured after undergoing knee surgery last season.
The much-travelled 30-year-old is back in training but is unlikely to be ready to face Morecambe on Saturday. Assistant boss Guiliano Grazioli confirmed: "It doesn't take too much working out that he is doubtful for the trip to Morecambe. "But he is looking good, working hard and in good shape."
