Torquay have confirmed they are set to complete the signing of striker Taiwo Atieno following his release from Stevenage.

The 25-year-old will join the club on Friday having impressed boss Martin Ling after spending two weeks on trial.

Atieno has scored twice in United's pre-season campaign but missed Wednesday's 3-0 friendly win over Exeter as a precaution.
