Dagenham's Josh Scott is back at pre-season training after missing the close of last term due to a blood clot on his lung.

The 26-year-old made 10 starts and eight substitute appearances in 2010/11, the last of which came at the start of January before he was forced on to the sidelines.

But the striker is now back in the fold and hoping to be fit for the forthcoming campaign.

Daggers manager John Still told the club's official website: "It's really good news with Josh. He's been training, no contact yet, but he has been training and we are hoping by the end of next week he gets the full all-clear and can push on.

"I have said before that Josh was a big miss for us last year, a fit Josh. So we are hoping to see the benefit of that this year."
