New Bristol Rovers striker Matt Harrold has revealed his sadness at Shrewsbury's decision to sell him.
The 26-year-old is set to join the Pirates on a two-year deal next week. Harrold was surprised his stay at Shrewsbury lasted only a year after signing on a free contract from Wycombe. He told the Shropshire Star: "Just before I went on holiday, my agent called and said there was interest and Shrewsbury would be prepared to sell me. "I was a bit surprised and disappointed because we achieved a fair bit last season."
