Bristol Rovers have completed the signing of midfielder Craig Stanley from Morecambe, subject to a medical.
Stanley, 28, expected to sign a two-year deal, is reunited with new Rovers manager Paul Buckle after spending last season on loan at Torquay and is the third player to arrive at the Memorial Stadium this week.
Rovers chairman Nick Higgs said: "It has been very busy negotiating with these players and I'm delighted that Craig has decided to join us.
"He spent time on loan at Torquay last season and Paul was very impressed with him and keen to work with him again. He's a creative midfielder, who fits the style of play that we want to see here at Bristol Rovers.
"These first three signings are just the first steps towards rebuilding our squad for next season and there will be plenty more comings and goings happening in the next few weeks."
Goalkeeper Scott Bevan, who followed Buckle from Torquay, and midfielder Mark Gill, released by Norwich, were signed by Rovers on Monday.
