Morecambe manager Jim Bentley has confirmed the club have offered midfielder Craig Stanley a new contract.
Bentley has moved quickly to offer the midfielder, who was on loan at Torquay for the second half of the season, a new deal after reports suggested Stanley was keen on staying at Plainmoor.
"We have made an offer," Bentley told The Visitor.
"I do like Craig and I know the fans love him. He is a great lad and a good player and we have made him an offer and we will do all we can to keep him here."
Bentley is also set to offer new deals to Will Haining and Lawrence Wilson.
