Bury striker Lenell John-Lewis expects to sign a new deal at Gigg Lane after helping the club to promotion from League Two.
The 22-year-old former Lincoln frontman penned a one-year contract with the Shakers last summer but that deal is about to expire.
Yet John-Lewis is determined to stay at the club as they gear up for life in League One.
"I'm out of contract now but have been offered a new deal for next season," he said.
"It's just happy days for me at the moment so we just have to sort that out and I will be back at Gigg Lane next season.
"We've got big teams coming here next season such as the two Sheffield clubs, Charlton, Preston - teams that I never thought I would be playing against."
