Wycombe defender Dave Winfield has signed a new contract which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2013.
The 23-year-old has become a favourite at Adams Park following his summer switch from Aldershot, playing a pivotal role in the club's promotion to npower League One.
Winfield helped Wanderers keep 17 clean sheets this season - more than any side in League Two - and boss Gary Waddock told the club's official website: "After the excellent season he's had, we're absolutely delighted that Dave has committed himself to the club.
"He's an important part of our group - a leader, a winner and one we can develop even further."
Speaking to Chairboys Player, Winfield said: "I've enjoyed my football this season more than any other time in my career and feel privileged to be given a further opportunity to kick on."
