Aldershot's Damian Spencer has pledged to be a "super-sub" after returning from injury with a winner against Stockport.
Spencer, 29, had not featured for the club since the end of October after injuring his knee. He said: "It was a great feeling to score after a frustrating period for me. "I was disappointed to get the injury in the first place in a training session. To be out for so long, added to the fact that there was a change of manager too, made it all the more difficult. "I used to play a similar role at Cheltenham coming on as a sort of a super sub role late on in the game. It is about getting in the right areas. My aim now is to stay fit and be involved more."
