Purdie signs permanently, Pell arrives on loan and Heath extends

Hereford United have signed Rob Purdie on a permanent basis and Harry Pell on loan after extending Joe Heath's stay at Edgar Street. Purdie had been on loan at Hereford since October and was released by Oldham Athletic on transfer deadline day. The midfielder subsequently signed a contract until the end of the season with the Bulls after scoring four goals in nine appearances during his loan spell. The League Two strugglers also brought in midfielder Pell on a month-long loan deal from Bristol Rovers before the transfer window closed. And the activity was rounded off by the deal to extend Heath's loan from Exeter City until the end of the campaign after the left-back made 10 appearances since his initial arrival in November.
