Macclesfield defender Paul Morgan has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2012.
The Silkmen's club captain has been a virtual ever-present since signing, initially on loan, from Bury in 2008 and has made just over 100 appearances in all competitions for the League Two outfit. Boss Gary Simpson said: "It's great news for us. He's a very good professional and always looks after himself and we've managed to work out a deal that is a good one for the player and the club. "We've got a few players signed up for the coming season and Morgs has been doing well for us this season so we thought it was the right time to be looking at extending this one."
