Barnet manager Mark Stimson has extended the loan spell of defender George Francomb from Norwich City.
The 19-year-old, who has also been used in midfield by the Bees boss, will now stay at Underhill until January 9.
"I'm very pleased that George is with us to the new year," said Stimson.
"He quickly found his feet in League Two and has played well at full-back and on the right of midfield.
"His performances have steadily improved during his time with us and my words to him are 'more of the same please, and if you could get on the scoresheet that would be fine with me too'!"
Meanwhile, Oxford are currently confident Saturday's clash with the Bees will go ahead despite the weather.
