Hereford United boss Jamie Pitman has made a double swoop with the loan captures of Matty Lund and Joe Heath.
Stoke central midfielder Lund is a promising prospect who signed for the Premier League club from Crewe while defender Heath, two years older at 22, arrives from League One side Exeter, both on month-long deals.
The pair are eligible to make their debuts in Saturday's FA Cup second-round clash at home to Lincoln.
Exeter's director of football Steve Perryman said: "Joe has been terrific since he joined us.
"He is one of the best trainers I've ever seen and unfortunately for him the chance has just not come his way.
"We feel that it would do him a lot of good to get some senior games under his belt and the morale boost that playing for points gives a player."
