Stimson hails return of key duo

Barnet boss Mark Stimson hopes the return of Grant Basey and Steve Kabba can inspire his side off the foot of the table.

Centre-half Basey and striker Kabba have missed large chunks of the season through injury but their recent return to the team has brought about a marked improvement in performances. The pair were in fine form as Barnet were narrowly knocked out of the FA Cup in Tuesday night's replay at Charlton and will be in the side which hosts Northampton on Saturday. "In the last three games we've got some key players back in Steve Kabba and Grant Basey," said Stimson. "Two players can make a massive difference, especially when one is a central-defender and one is a centre-forward. "Since they returned we drew with Charlton at home, then we draw at Torquay, then we went to Charlton and put in a performance I'm very proud of."
