Coleman calls for Mozika ban

John Coleman insists Bury's Damien Mozika should be banned if he is found to be play-acting in Accrington's 3-0 defeat.

The Shakers were already three goals to the good at Gigg Lane when Mozika fell to the ground dramatically 15 minutes from time, following an off-the-ball incident which left Accrington's Andy Procter stunned to be given his marching orders. Stanley are considering an appeal, although their efforts will be hampered if video footage failed to catch the incident. "Anybody who knows Andy Procter knows he's not capable of throwing a punch," said Coleman in the Lancashire Telegraph. "Just knowing Andy I'm sure he hasn't done anything wrong, and going by his reaction at the time and everyone else's reaction apart from the lad who managed to do four little tumbles, twists, turns and then managed to get up. "There could be an appeal but in situations like that video evidence should be used against the perpetrator. If he's found to be play-acting he should be banned."
