Bury boss Alan Knill sees no reason why defender Efe Sodje cannot reach the 500 mark for league appearances.
Sodje, 37, made his 500th senior career appearance in Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to Northampton. He remains 67 matches short of 500 league appearances and Knill believes that target is achievable. "It's fantastic for Sodje to get 500 games and at the moment he is playing as well as he has played for me," said Knill. "He's a really good ambassador for the football club, but the biggest for me - he is a good example for the young players. "I know he set himself a target of 500 games, now his target is 500 league games. If he continues to play as well as he is now, then I can't see there being a problem with that."
