Kyle Bennett and Lenell John-Lewis are to be offered contracts by Bury after impressing manager Alan Knill on trial.
Former Wolves youngster Bennett and ex-Lincoln striker John-Lewis have been training with the League Two club during pre-season in the hope of earning contracts.
And, following Tuesday's friendly win over local rivals Rochdale, Shakers boss Knill confirmed he would be looking to keep the duo.
John-Lewis has plenty of experience at League Two level after spending the past few seasons in the Lincoln squad.
However, he was placed on the transfer list at the end of last term before his contract was cancelled and he is now in line for a move to Gigg Lane.
