Midfielder Saul Halpin has penned a new deal with Torquay which will keep him at Plainmoor for a further three years.
The 18-year-old, who signed his first professional contract last season after working his way up through the Gulls' college set-up and youth team, is yet to make his senior debut.
But manager Paul Buckle believes the youngster shows great potential, and is thrilled to extend his deal with the club.
"We have extended Saul's contract and he is now committed to the club for a further three years which is fantastic," said Buckle.
"The special thing about Saul is his age. He has come back looking very bright. He can go past people and has already upset a few of the senior players."
