Imps recruit former Arsenal starlet

Lincoln manager Chris Sutton has bolstered his attacking options for the new season by signing wing star Albert Jarrett. Jarrett joins the Sincil Bank outfit from Barnet and has penned a 12-month contract ahead of the new League Two campaign. The former Arsenal schoolboy has had spells with Watford and Gillingham and also spent time on loan at Boston United and MK Dons. Jarrett helped the Gills win promotion from League Two before his move to the Bees, who he made 45 appearances for last season. The Sierra Leonean international has linked up with Sutton's team and the boss was delighted to have signed a player he feels will make a big difference. "I'm delighted that a player of Albert's ability has agreed to sign for us," Sutton told the club's official website. "He is a player who the fans will pay money to come and watch and if he can fulfil his potential he will almost certainly improve us as a team and help us move forward."
