Forward Ben Strevens has followed Danny Foster in making the move to Wycombe from Brentford.

Strevens, 30, who has passed a medical at Adams Park, had slipped down the pecking order at Brentford.

He turned down a move to the Chairboys in January but now joins the League Two club on a free transfer.

Brentford manager Andy Scott said: "Ben Strevens was a little unfortunate last year with the pre-season injury. He struggled to find his best form after that.

"With Nicky Forster and Charlie MacDonald already on the club books he would be limited for first-team opportunities.

"Wycombe expressed an interest and it was thought best for all parties if Ben was given a fresh start. We wish him all the best for the future."
