Aldershot goalkeeper Jamie Young has signed a new one-year deal with the club.
The 24-year-old, who was released by Wycombe Wanderers in March, was initially signed on a three-month deal and played a part in their play-off challenge that ended at the hands of Rotherham.
The Australian made eight appearances for the Shots as cover for first-choice Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz, and has sufficiently impressed manager Kevin Dillon enough to be rewarded with new terms for his contribution in the latter part of the campaign.
"I have been so happy playing football again and enjoying my time with Aldershot," Young told the club's official website.
"The start of last season was a tough one for me so to be involved with a good side that reached the play-offs was great.
"I always aim to play as well as I can and represent my family in everything I do. I am grateful to have had the opportunity at Alderhot Town and we have all learned a great deal due to the experiences of the last few months of the campaign.
"Everything about the club has been positive since I arrived.
"The supporters have been terrific and I have been made to feel so welcome and I look forward to seeing everybody again at the start of the new season."
