Brown also pledges future to League Two club

Macclesfield Town have signed non-league striker Tyrone Barnett and secured defender Nat Brown on a new contract. Barnett has been banging in the goals at Hednesford Town and has now been offered the chance to make his mark in the Football League. He joins former Hednesford team-mate Ross Draper at Moss Rose and is hoping he can have an impact for Macclesfield next season. "I'm very excited to be joining Macclesfield for next season," Barnett told the club's official website. "The Football League is always the dream for players in the lower divisions and I want to try and make the most of this opportunity. "I'm good in the air and at holding up the ball with a decent eye for goal and hopefully I'll be able to show what I can do next season." Meanwhile, experienced defender Brown has signed a new two-year contract with the Silkmen after making 38 appearances in League Two this season.
