Wycombe have secured loan moves for striker Alex Revell and midfielder Josh Payne.
The Chairboys had originally swooped for 26-year-old Revell last week after his contract with Southend was cancelled, but a problem with the paperwork has seen the deal change.
He will now officially stay as a Shrimpers player because he is not permitted to represent three clubs in one season.
Wycombe have therefore secured his services until the penultimate game of the League One campaign.
Manager Gary Waddock said: "I'm delighted a solution has been found and we'll have Alex for the majority of our remaining games.
"He is capable of scoring the goals that could make a big difference to our season."
Meanwhile, West Ham midfielder Payne has signed for a month and might make his debut against Southend this weekend.
