Bees let Charles leave

League Two outfit Barent have released Elliott Charles from his contract at Underhill.

Striker agrees to cancel contract

League Two outfit Barent have released Elliott Charles from his contract at Underhill. The 19-year-old has seen his deal, which was due to run until the end of the season, cancelled by mutual consent. Former PROTEC graduate Charles penned professional terms with the Bees in May 2008, after scoring 20 goals for their U18 side. He has since gone on to make 12 appearances as a substitute for the senior side. Never able to force his way into the fold on a regular basis, Charles has taken in loan spells at Farnborough, Lewes, Hemel Hampstead, Ebbsfleet United and Havant & Waterlooville during his time at Barent.
