Bradford have signed Matt Glennon until the end of the season after the keeper left Huddersfield Town.

Keeper hoping to secure promotion with new club

Bradford City have signed goalkeeper Matt Glennon until the end of the season after he secured his release from Huddersfield Town. Glennon's deal at Huddersfield was due to expire in the summer, but he had not featured for the League One club since Lee Clark took over as manager. The 31-year-old has now negotiated his departure from the Galpharm Stadium and has clinched a move to local rivals Bradford. "I have had opportunities to join teams in Huddersfield's division, but they had no aspirations of promotion," Glennon told the club's official website. "I would rather be playing my games at somewhere that has the hope of achieving something. "I want to get some games and play some matches that's for sure." Bantams boss Stuart McCall had been looking to bring in an experienced keeper after allowing Simon Eastwood to return to Huddersfield after a loan spell at Valley Parade.
