Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell has admitted Andrew Davies' loan stay could be cut short because of injury.
Davies, who is on loan at Bramall Lane from Stoke, suffered a hip injury in Monday's 2-2 draw with Barnsley.
The former Middlesbrough youngster still has six weeks of his loan to run, but he may be forced to return to the Britannia Stadium for treatment on the injury.
"Davies' hip injury could be a four-to-six weeks job," said Blackwell.
"If that is the case, he'll go back to Stoke and finish here because his loan has only got five weeks left."
