Rochdale have confirmed Norwich midfielder Simon Whaley has signed an extension to his loan at Spotland.
Midfielder to stay at Spotland for a second month
Rochdale have confirmed Norwich City midfielder Simon Whaley has signed an extension to his loan at Spotland.
Skysports.com revealed last week that Whaley had agreed to spend a second month with the League Two club after impressing since joining Dale.
His loan was originally due to expire after last weekend's game against Grimsby Town, but he will now stay with Keith Hill's side until 14th November.
To date, Whaley has made six appearances for Rochdale and also scored in the 4-1 victory over Hereford United.
Whaley fell out of favour at Norwich following the appointment of Paul Lambert as manager, having only moved to Carrow Road from Preston in the summer.
