Brentford have completed the signing of winger Cleveland Taylor from League One rivals Carlisle United for an undisclosed fee.
The Jamaican becomes boss Andy Scott's 12th summer signing after agreeing a two-year deal at Griffin Park and could make his debut against Brighton on Saturday.
Taylor was part of the Carlisle side which lost 3-1 to Brentford at Brunton Park last week and his new boss Scott has finally landed the 25-year-old after a long pursuit.
"I have been tracking Cleveland for a year and those who were at Carlisle on Saturday will have seen the attributes he can bring to the club," he said.
"We have a lot more pace, power and energy about us this year and the signing of Cleveland gives us even more healthy competition for places."
