Bull aims to challenge Price for first-team spot

Brentford have signed Nikki Bull on a one-year contract following the goalkeeper's departure from Aldershot. Bull recently asked to cancel the final 12 months of his deal at Aldershot after making more than 300 appearances during his time with the League Two club. He has now secured a move to Brentford and is looking forward to challenging Lewis Price for the No.1 spot in Andy Scott's side. "It's exciting times for me," Bull told the club's official website. "I knew a bit about Brentford having seen them a few times last season and it was obvious that they have a really good team spirit and a good bunch of lads. "In manager Andy Scott the club has a fantastic young manager who is making a good name for himself in the game, so it was a good move for me at the right stage of my career. "I am ready to step up and in doing so I don't just want to sit on the bench. I want to be the No.1, so it should be good competition as Lewis is making a good name for himself also."
