Knill offers terms to midfielder

Bury have moved to keep Damien Allen at the club following a successful trial spell. The 22-year-old has been offered full-time terms and will become Alan Knill's third signing of the summer should a deal be completed as planned. The midfielder is set to undergo a medical on Wednesday before completing the formalities of the move. Knill is looking forward to working with Allen and believes the former Stockport and Morecambe man can get his career back on track at Gigg Lane. "His career has stuttered recently for one reason or another but he has the chance to rebuild it here and I'm sure he can take that chance," the Shakers boss told the Bury Times.
