Swindon have handed former Everton youngster Scott Spencer a trial, skysports.com understands.
Spencer is looking for a new club following the expiration of his contract at Everton earlier this summer.
The 20-year-old joined Everton from Oldham in 2006, but failed to make the breakthrough at Goodison Park.
Spencer enjoyed loan stints at Yeovil and Macclesfield during his time at Everton and had a spell training with Scunthorpe last season.
Swindon boss Danny Wilson is in the market for a striker and he is due to cast an eye over Spencer in training over the next few days.
