Grimsby have completed the signing of former Barnet midfielder Michael Leary.
The 25-year-old spent two years at the Underhill Stadium before being released this summer, but he has now penned a two-year deal at Blundell Park.
Mariners boss Mike Newell had previously worked with Leary during his time at Luton.
Meanwhile, winger Nathan Arnold is the latest player to head to Grimsby on trial.
The 21-year-old is available on a free transfer after he was released by Mansfield and will compete for a permanent deal alongside strikers Chris Jones, Andy Smith and Graham Barrett and goalkeeper Kevin Strukelj.
