Notts County have completed the signing of midfielder Ben Davies on a three-year deal.
Davies rejected the opportunity to remain with League Two rivals Shrewsbury and switched to the Magpies after his ProStar Stadium contract expired.
The 28-year-old becomes Ian McParland's sixth signing of the summer and the County boss feels completing his latest acquisition is a major coup.
"We've managed to secure the signature of a very talented footballer and we have fought off some very strong competition to bring him here, so I'm delighted," he told the club's official website.
"Ben's goalscoring record obviously stands out but there is plenty more to his game than just his goals.
"He can get on the ball and open doors for us and his set-pieces are deadly as well. It is an exciting signing for us.
"Graeme Lee (who signed on Tuesday) and Ben were the two players myself and Peter Trembling spoke to last Thursday and to have them both on board is fantastic news for the club.
"We've managed to sell to both of them what we're trying to achieve and we believe both Graeme and Ben have a big part to play in that."
