Brown joins and Draper set to follow

Macclesfield Town have signed Nat Brown on a permanent basis and agreed a fee for non-league midfielder Ross Draper. Brown has secured an extended stay at Moss Rose, having spent much of last season on loan from Wrexham. The 28-year-old was a key figure in the centre of defence during his loan spell and formed an effective partnership with Paul Morgan. Silkmen boss Keith Alexander will now have both players in his plans for next season after Morgan also signed permanently, agreeing a two-year deal to join from Bury. Alexander is looking to make further additions to his squad after having an offer accepted for Hednesford Town youngster Draper. The 20-year-old started his career at Shrewsbury Town before joining Stafford Rangers and then Hednesford, but could now be set for a return to the Football League.
