Paul Bolland has signed for Macclesfield Town following his release from Grimsby.
The 29-year-old, who left Blundell Park at the end of last season, has signed a one-year contract with the Silkmen.
Macc boss Keith Alexander is confident the midfielder's experience will prove to be invaluable next season.
"I am really pleased to have secured Paul for the coming season," he told the club's official website.
"He brings us a wealth of experience which is something that I think we lacked at times last year."
