But former QPR keeper could prove too costly

Barnet manager Ian Hendon has revealed that the club are in talks with former QPR goalkeeper Jake Cole about bringing him on board for next season. The 23-year-old impressed while on loan at Underhill at the back end of last season before being released by the Loftus Road club. Hendon is keen to secure Cole's services but told skysports.com that his wage demands could prove to be a hurdle to any potential permanent deal. He said: "We have spoken to Jake and his advisers, but that is still ongoing. We would like to bring him in, but he has been in the Championship on a decent wage, so that could be a stumbling block. "However, we are battling away and would like to sort things out so that we can have him on board next season." Abu Ogogo, another loan signing from last season, has also been released by his parent club Arsenal, but Hendon insisted that he is not looking to bring the young full-back in this summer. He said: "Abu's been released by Arsenal, but the problem we had with him was that he kept getting injuries and suspensions, which meant he only played nine games during the six months he was here. "We can't afford to have too many injury-prone players at the club and hopefully that won't happen again to Abu, but at the moment he isn't one that I am chasing."
