Seven players have left Southend United as manager Steve Tilson tweaks his squad. Out of those released, only Charles Ademeno and Peggy Lokando have appeared for the first-team as Tilson aims for continuity at Roots Hall. The pair are followed out of the exit door by youth players Jamie Forshaw, Luke Thurlbourne, Rhys Henry, Davis Abbey and Dan Harvey. Veteran striker Paul Furlong is also out of contract and is speaking to Barnet about a one-year deal while Tilson and chairman Ron Martin are in talks with Peter Clarke whose deal is also due to expire.
