A host of clubs are chasing Dagenham & Redbridge striking duo Paul Benson and Ben Strevens, skysports.com understands.

The pair have enjoyed a productive season for Dagenham in front of goal after contributing 34 goals between them so far.

Former Barnet ace Strevens has netted 14 goals, while Benson has scored 20 goals for the League Two outfit.

The duo have been instrumental in Dagenham's bid for the League Two play-offs and their performances have not gone unnoticed from clubs higher up the league pyramid.

Strevens' current deal expires at the end of the season and as yet no new contract has been agreed to alert his suitors.

Stockport, Huddersfield, Bury and Exeter are all thought to be monitoring Strevens' situation as he would be an attractive proposition on a free transfer.

Benson, who has one year left on his contract, has been attracting interest from Colchester, Millwall, Brighton and Swindon, and Dagenham would be loath to lose their top scorer.

The duo's agent Dan Fletcher is not surprised both players are attracting interest from other clubs.

"I am not surprised other clubs are looking at Paul and Ben as they have been one of the best strike-forces in League Two," Fletcher told skysports.com.

"They have enjoyed fantastic seasons and I know a lot of clubs are keeping tabs on them as a result of their goalscoring exploits."
