Lincoln City pair Dany N'Guessan and Lee Beevers have rejected new contract offers with the League Two side.
Striker N'Guessan and defender Beevers' long-term future at the club has been made the top priority, along with forward Adrian Patulea, as boss Peter Jackson looks to build for next season.
The mid-table outfit offered new deals to the trio, but the Red Imps have suffered a double knock-back.
"We made offers to Dany and Lee and they turned our first offer down," Jackson told Radio Lincolnshire.
The Lincoln manager also confirmed that other deals could be in the making, adding: "Players who haven't been spoken to yet will be out to impress to earn a contract for next year as well.
"But we can't really decide which players we're looking for next season until we know which division we'll be in.
