Notts County have parted company with defender Paul Mayo.
Mayo, who signed for the Magpies from Lincoln City in 2007, has had his contract cancelled by mutual agreement.
The 27-year-old has struggled for regular first-team football of late, and is now poised to join non-league side Mansfield Town.
Manager Ian McParland told Notts County's official website: "With Jamie Clapham signing a new contract which takes him to the end of next season, Paul realised that his chances would be limited and has chosen to make a fresh start.
"We wish him every success in the future."
