Striker's contract cancelled

Kevin Gallen has left Milton Keynes Dons after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent. The veteran striker joined the Dons from Plymouth in July 2007 and he has had some success with the club, netting 10 goals in 49 appearances. He has struggled with a number of minor injuries over the last 18 months and has fallen down the pecking order in recent times. Gallen was allowed to link up with League Two side Luton for a loan spell in November and now becomes a free agent after agreeing a deal to cancel the final six months of his contract. The 33-year-old has previously played for Queens Park Rangers, Huddersfield and Barnsley.
