MIdfielder feels he has added balance to Waddock's side
Andy Sandell is happy to have taken his opportunity after signing a permanent contract at Aldershot.
The midfielder originally joined the Shots on loan from Salisbury in November and has scored once in seven appearances.
He has now signed an 18-month contract with the League Two club and feels he has aided Gary Waddock's side since his arrival.
Sandell told the Star Courier: "When I signed on loan it was with a view to a permanent move.
"The gaffer said he was giving me a chance and it was up to me to take it.
"I think I've added a little balance down the left and I'm very happy things have worked out well and that I've joined permanently - 18 months is a good deal for me."
